LCL is usually rated on chargeable CBM or weight/measurement (W/M), commonly 1 CBM = 1,000 kg unless the tariff differs. Quotes combine origin charges, ocean freight, destination charges, and optional pickup, customs/brokerage, or delivery.

Plan on 20–30 days port-to-port to Vancouver. Montreal is an East Canada / St. Lawrence container seaport, so transit is quote-specific and depends on origin, routing, and any transshipment. Toronto is an inland destination; rail or truck from a West Coast gateway adds about 5–10 days after CFS deconsolidation and customs release. Timing also varies with origin CFS, consolidation schedule, sailing, destination CFS/rail, customs/inspection, and final delivery. Planning estimates only—not a guaranteed transit time.
Typical China export documents include a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading instructions, and export customs declaration; certificates apply when the product requires them. Destination filings are arranged by the importer or a licensed Canadian customs broker.

Yes. You may use your licensed Canadian customs broker for CBSA import entry. TENCO is a freight forwarder and can coordinate shipping data, ACI/eManifest information, and destination CFS release with your broker or a destination agent—we are not a licensed Canadian customs broker unless separately agreed in writing.
Canada destination charges typically include CFS deconsolidation and destination handling. Customs-related costs, brokerage, rail/inland movement, and delivery are confirmed shipment by shipment and are not automatically included. Share your destination city and Incoterm for an itemized quote.
LCL fits smaller or multi-supplier volumes—often under about 15 CBM—when a full container is not justified. FCL is usually better at higher, steady volumes. We compare chargeable volume, destination charges, sailing options, and urgency before recommending either mode.
