Why importers trust TENCO for China–Peru LCL

  • Since 2016

Founded in Shenzhen with focused China export logistics experience—now consolidating LCL for importers receiving cargo through Callao and Lima.

  • LCL Specialist

Less-than-container-load consolidation is our core service—not a side offering alongside general freight.

  • China Export Expertise

Deep knowledge of export regulations, CFS operations, and supplier coordination across major manufacturing hubs.

  • Callao and Lima

Weekly LCL to two Peru gateways. Callao is the primary gateway and the quote default. Lima is the secondary gateway. Destination CFS release, then an optional warehouse handoff.

Why ship LCL China–Peru with TENCO

The Peru quote opens on Callao

Callao is the primary Peru gateway, and the quote default is Shenzhen → Callao, PE. Lima is the secondary gateway, used when the importer already receives there. Tell us the delivery area and we plan CFS release at the matching gateway. A warehouse or inland handoff is added only when the booking includes it. Customer-facing Peru gateways on this page are Callao and Lima.

Several China factories, one Peru sailing

A Peru-bound commercial order often leaves more than one China workshop and still does not fill a container. We measure those lots at CFS near Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Ningbo, then load them as one weekly LCL with one export document set to Callao or Lima.

Export file closed before the Peru cutoff

Commercial invoices, packing lists, and China export declarations are aligned across suppliers before the weekly cutoff. The destination CFS and the importer’s broker then work from that same file after the ocean leg.

Peru CFS release, then the importer’s broker

Deconsolidation is coordinated at the booked gateway, Callao or Lima. A warehouse intake can follow when it is quoted. Peru import clearance stays with the importer or a licensed customs broker. TENCO shares shipping data with that broker or a destination agent and does not file Peru import entries.

When LCL Makes Sense

Choose China-to-Peru LCL when commercial cargo is typically 1–15 CBM from one or more suppliers and a full container to Callao or Lima is not justified—port-to-port, or with a warehouse handoff after CFS release.

Callao as the quote default

Regular LCL from South China and East China into Callao, the primary Peru gateway and the quote default on this page.

Lima as the second gateway

When the receiving plan uses the secondary gateway, the same weekly LCL and export-document check still apply at Lima.

Multi-supplier commercial cargo

Combine cargo from several China factories into one weekly LCL to Callao or Lima, and close the supplier group before the sailing cutoff.

LCL or FCL for two gateways

Compare chargeable volume against a full container to Callao or Lima. LCL suits smaller commercial shipments. FCL suits higher, steady volume into the same gateway.

Shipping Process

China to Peru LCL — How It Works

From supplier cargo in China to Callao or Lima—consolidation, export document checks, and a weekly LCL ocean leg planned on a 35–42 day window. That window is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed transit time.

01

Request a Quote

Share the China origin, cargo weight and CBM, and the Peru delivery address. The quote default is Shenzhen → Callao, PE. We respond within one business day with shipment-specific LCL pricing and the 35–42 day planning window.

02

Pickup & Consolidation

Supplier cargo is received at our consolidation warehouse/CFS near Shenzhen, Shanghai, or Ningbo, measured, and grouped for the next weekly sailing to Callao or Lima.

03

Export & Ocean Freight

China export declaration and documentation checks happen before departure, then weekly LCL ocean freight to the booked gateway on a 35–42 day port-to-port planning window. Planning estimates only—not a guaranteed transit time.

04

Destination CFS and broker handoff

CFS deconsolidation at Callao or Lima, coordination with your customs broker or a destination agent, and optional warehouse or inland delivery after arrival. Import clearance remains with the importer or a licensed customs broker.

Case Studies

Retail SuppliesPeru-bound retail buyerShenzhen → Callao

Challenge

Retail supplies from three Guangdong workshops were ready on different days. None of the lots filled a container, and separate bookings would have arrived as separate Callao CFS releases for the same Peru receiver.

Solution

TENCO received the supplier cargo at the Shenzhen CFS, grouped it into one weekly LCL to Callao, and closed one export document set before the cutoff so the receiver had a single CFS release at the primary gateway.

Packaging MaterialsPeru-bound packaging buyerNingbo → Lima

Challenge

Ningbo packaging materials were too small for a full container. The receiving plan used Lima, and the commercial invoices still listed different consignee details before the weekly cutoff.

Solution

Ningbo consolidation moved as a weekly LCL to Lima. Export invoices and packing lists were aligned before departure so the importer’s broker could work from one set after Lima CFS release.

Challenge

Shanghai machinery fittings needed a Callao CFS release and a warehouse intake that was part of the quote, while Peru import clearance stayed with the importer’s broker.

Solution

TENCO arranged Shanghai CFS intake, aligned the commercial documents, coordinated the Callao CFS release, and set the warehouse handoff after arrival. Import clearance stayed with the importer’s broker.

China to Peru LCL — FAQ

How long does LCL shipping from China to Peru take?

Plan on 35–42 days port-to-port to Callao or Lima, depending on the China origin CFS, the consolidation cutoff, the weekly LCL sailing, and any transshipment. Destination CFS release, and a warehouse or inland handoff, are additional. The range is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed transit time, and it is not a door-to-door or customs-inclusive figure.

How should I choose Callao or Lima?

Callao is the primary Peru gateway and the quote default: Shenzhen → Callao, PE. Lima is the secondary gateway. Tell us the delivery area and we plan CFS release at the matching gateway. We do not publish a named inland route or an inland trucking time. A warehouse handoff is quoted only when it is part of the booking. This page does not add another Peru port.

Can TENCO consolidate several China suppliers into one Peru shipment?

Yes. We receive cargo from multiple factories at our China CFS, measure and group it for one weekly LCL to Callao or Lima, and align the export documents so the Peru-bound importer receives a single shipment at the booked destination CFS.

What documents should be ready before LCL leaves China for Peru?

Typical China export documents include a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading instructions, and export customs declaration. Certificates apply when the product requires them. These should be consistent across suppliers before the Peru sailing. Peru import filings are arranged by the importer or a licensed customs broker. TENCO does not file those entries.

See the China export documentation checklist.

How are destination CFS release, warehouse coordination, and customs broker handoff handled in Peru?

Destination CFS deconsolidation is coordinated at Callao or Lima, whichever gateway is booked. A warehouse or inland handoff can be quoted with the sailing. Peru import clearance is the responsibility of the importer and/or a licensed customs broker. TENCO can share shipping data and work with your broker or a destination agent. We are not a licensed customs broker and do not file Peru import entries. We do not publish a clearance time or an inland trucking time.

When is LCL a better fit than FCL for commercial cargo bound for Peru?

LCL fits smaller or multi-supplier commercial cargo—often under about 15 CBM—when a full container to Callao or Lima is not justified. FCL is usually better for higher, steady volumes into one of those two gateways. We compare chargeable volume, destination charges, sailing options, and urgency before recommending either mode.
